West Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency Head, Purwanti, said the dredging of water channel along 400 meters x 70 cm x 80 cm has been running since early April 2024.
"The dredging is run based on residents request on Musrenbang 2023. The mud is already thick," she said, Wednesday (4/24).

"Now the progress has reached 98 percent and is targeted to complete this week," she added.
Purwanti hoped the newly dredged water channel is able to flow water smoothly to Semongol River and minimize inundation during heavy rain.
Meanwhile, RT 08/13 Head, Tegal Alur, Ismail, appreciated and thanked the personnel for dredging the water channel.
"It is hoped the channel will flow the water smoothly and prevent inundation," he hoped.
